Alex graduated from Loyola Marymount University as a film production major and screenwriting minor. He has directed music videos that have been featured on MTV U, MTV London and Funny or Die. His first professional screenwriting job was a rewrite for the upcoming sports biopic UNSTOPPABLE: THE ANTHONY ROBLES STORY, which is slated for production in May 2020, starring Jharrel Jerome (MOONLIGHT, WHEN THEY SEE US) directed by Jason Hall (AMERICAN SNIPER, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE), produced by Dwayne Johnson, David Crockett and David Glasser. Alex's directorial debut is in development, titled THE LAST CHILD, which he also adapted, based on the NYT best selling novel by John Hart, with Oakes Fegley, Ty Simpkins and Abigail Spencer attached, Braden Aftergood and Fernando Loureiro producing. He also has a script in development called BLANK YOUTH with Margaret Qualley attached. He is a LMU/Film Independent Incubator Lab alum, for which he earned a development scholarship. His pilot THE DEEP END was a Screencraft Pilot Launch finalist, a Bluecat and Austin semi-finalist, advanced to the second round of the Sundance Episodic Lab and was featured on the 2019 Blacklist's best drama pilots front page.
