Maria Knoll Benner
Maria, a Chicago native, is excited to share her city, her perspectives and her recently completed semi-autobiographical screenplay. Creating since childhood, Maria literally has been making people laugh her entire life. She began her performance studies at the Second City Training Center-Chicago and was cast in the deMaat Showcase (original cast) \\"Homey for the Holidays\\" while enrolled in her first acting class there, appearing alongside graduates from the Northwestern and DePaul Universities acting schools, as well as comedy stars Nick Vatterott (Comedy Central, Real Time with Bill Maher) and Colin J. Sweeney (Westside Comedy; Mission IMPROVable.) Exciting opportunities in film, theatre and voiceover have followed, inspiring Maria to perform professionally. A proud member of SAG-AFTRA, she continues to love working on camera, stage and mic and is represented by Promote Talent Agency, Chicago.
